Curved wash strip, illuminated lenses, diffused amber light across the surface

System · Wash

La Wash.
A gentle glow, everywhere.

A strip of lenses that casts a broad, even beam of light onto a nearby surface—a wall, a hedge, a fence, or a ceiling. To bathe the space in light rather than highlight it with a beam.

Wash, don't highlight

Each LED is topped with a lens that spreads the beam. Placed at the base of a wall or at the top of a hedge, the Wash casts an even blanket of light, with no hot spots or dark bands—where an ordinary strip light would cast a line, it creates a surface.

Supermarkets

A stone wall, a cedar shingle, a cedar hedge, a fence, a pergola ceiling. The Wash is designed for wide shots where spotlights cast patches of light and shadows are left behind by the lines. Warm white for texture, color for ambiance.

Outside and Inside

IP68 rating for the fence, low wall, and hedge. Inside, the same strip provides indirect lighting: along the crown molding toward the ceiling, under the counter toward the floor, along the headboard, and in the home theater. Same controller, same 24 V, same app as the rest of the house.

How is it installed?

By a certified installer, in one day for most homes.

Sketch and mockup

A photo of the facade, a diagram of the areas to be lit, and a simulation to see the result before placing an order.

Position and Angle

The Wash is positioned at the base or at the top of the surface, with the lenses facing toward it. The distance and angle determine the uniformity—this is the step that the integrator adjusts on site, in the evening.

Tape and Wiring

In a channel or on clips, cut to length, with waterproof connectors. 24 V wiring to the controller.

Commissioning

Zones, scenes, and schedules configured in the app with you. You'll walk away with full control—whether in the cloud or on-premises.

Frequently Asked Questions

What People Ask Us About the Wash.

All FAQs
Wash or Strip: What's the Difference?
They're from the same family, but the Strip shines straight ahead, while the Wash has lenses that open up and direct the beam. When placed under a ledge, the Strip casts a line on the ground; when placed at the base of a wall, the Wash illuminates the entire wall. When the surface is more important than the line, go with the Wash.
Wash light or landscape floodlight?
The spot light casts a spot—perfect for a tree or a single subject. The wash light creates a continuous beam along the entire length—perfect for a wall, a hedge, or a fence. On a long stone wall, three spot lights cast three spots; one wash light illuminates the entire wall.
How far from the wall?
It depends on the height to be covered and the desired effect: placed right at the base for low-angle lighting that brings out the texture, or set back a few dozen centimeters for a more even spread of light. The lighting technician adjusts it on site, in the evening, before setting it up.
Is it dazzling?
No, if it's positioned correctly: the lenses direct the light toward the surface, not toward the eyes. You see the illuminated wall, not the light source—that's the principle of wall washing.
